Background:

The Vidal's have been active Reiki practitioners since 1993.  As Certified Reiki Masters, they provide comprehensive training in the Traditional Usui System of Natural Healing, teaching and certifying all three levels through Master.  Students from South & Central America, Canada, and Europe, as well as the USA, have trained with them.

What is Reiki?

Reiki dates back over 3,000 years to ancient Tibet, and was re-discovered by Dr. Usui in the middle of the 19th century.  Reiki is Universal Unconditional Love--the very energy that holds the universe together.  The Reiki Practitioner is the channel (conduit) of this energy, and as the energy passes through him/her to you, you may feel heat, cold, tingling, vibration, or nothing!  But, the energy is always working to clear and soothe where you need it most.

Reiki works with the Universal Life Energy that surrounds us all.  As it passes through the attuned practitioner, it is magnified, and clears emotional and physical blockages, thus creating a balance and harmony of body, mind, and spirit.  Spirituality and awareness are enhanced, and a new level of growth begins.

Reiki is powerful in relieving stress.  And, when the stress is relieved, one can not only feel better, but will also think more clearly, make better decisions, and see with greater clarity the issues that have caused the stress.

The healing process for wounds or illness is greatly enhanced, and the healing time is much shorter and less debilitating.

Reiki is not a religion, and it does not incorporate a belief system.  It is as natural as all time, and is not in conflict with any natural law.  The practitioner is there to share this blessing and to help you receive the energy. 

The Traditional Usui System is taught today at the Spiritual Path Foundation just as the tradition was passed down to these certified teachers.

Reiki Training to Become a Practitioner

Three levels of training are offered by these certified teaching Reiki Masters.  All class materials are provided, including comprehensive manuals, along with hands-on supervised practice.  Classes are either two half days, or one full day, with appropriate intervals between each level.  Follow-up instruction and class audits are available to all students who train with Spiritual Path Foundation.  Certification is provided at the completion of each level of training.  Class size is limited to four students.

First Degree Training

In this first level class, you will receive the four attunements that will start you on your way to becoming a practitioner.  By the end of the class, you will understand the hand positions, and you will have practiced Reiki healing energy on yourself and on the other students in your class.  You will now be able to channel healing energy to yourself and to others.

Healing starts with an attitude.  After completion of your first Reiki class, your body, mind, and spirit will undergo a positive cleansing experience.  Negative energies are replaced with positive thoughts and actions, provided you comply with the Reiki principles.

Second Degree Training

During your First Degree initiation, you elevated your physical body energy vibrations.  With the two additional attunements in the Second Degree initiation, your mental energy vibrations will be elevated.

You will also learn the keys, or symbols, that enhance Reiki Energy.  With the knowledge and practice of these symbols, you will be able to send Reiki healing energy across short or long distances.  And, you will be able to  cleanse rooms,  "your space", of negative energies.  Exercises to elevate your own energies that will enhance the energy are also taught.

When you strengthen your body and mind, your higher self takes over.  You become a more spiritual person.  Old habits give way to common sense, you will understand your struggles, and life will become easier.  Life was never meant to be a struggle.

Third Degree -- Master

Before becoming a Reiki Master, a student must first demonstrate his/her dedication toward the healing arts.  A student must show a concern and commitment toward all life, as well as a spiritual attitude in his/her daily life.  This advancement demonstrates the individual's commitment to carry, and pass on, this ancient tradition for the betterment of humankind.

This level of training includes an internship training period, and is arranged by individual appointment.  Guidance is provided during this period to prepare the student for this major step.

The initiation is in a private class setting.  The Master Attunement is given, as well as comprehensive training and information that will enable the student to train and attune others to this healing art.

Children & Reiki

The Spiritual Path Foundation has developed a training program specifically for children above the age of 10 years.  This program includes a new manual, and techniques that will help the children learn all about Reiki while in a comfortable setting with language that they can understand.

In this training, they will receive all four attunements and all the information that the adults receive, including the correct terminologies.  All information and techniques are presented at a level that makes it easier for them to relate to.

This is a joyful, empowering experience for the children, and we have had great success with this program.
